Our time here in Scotland is coming to an end soon and we are really going to miss all our friends in Aberdeen. We are so thankful for all the kindness and friendship we experienced in the past year and when we look back we can definitely see how God lead our way and blessed us as a whole family. To be honest it was a great year for Theo 🙂
Before we came here we prayed that God would give us experiences that would prepare us for our future work as missionaries – and he did! Being part of the Church „Catalyst Vinyard Aberdeen North“ and experiencing their love for God and their deep faith in God’s power and grace and their passion for reaching people with God’s love was very encouraging for us. We met people from all over the world and have learned so much from them! And besides that God provided for us in a generous way. We really enjoyed living in our sweet little house on the beautiful Uni Campus and our awesome neighbours.
We plan to fly back to Germany beginning of August and will then have a couple of months there to prepare ourselves for our future work as missionaries in Burundi. Also we are going to have our second baby in autumn, which we are very looking forward too :).
